Welcome Week Event Submission

Winter Welcome | January 8-14, 2020

Winter Welcome Event Submissions are now live! If you are planning to host any events during the Winter Welcome period, feature them on our calendar using the instructions below.

Submit Your Event Using!

  1. To start, visit
  2. In the top right, click “Log In” and use your NetID and Password to log in to the calendar.
  3. On the right side of the screen click “Submit an Event.”
  4. Using the form provided, complete all required fields and any additional fields you can complete. Required fields are:
    • Event Name
    • Description – At the end of your event submission include a note that this should be tagged as Welcome Week.
    • Start Date – You can have events occur at multiple dates/times. As you add dates to your event, be sure to click “Add Above to Schedule” even if your event only has a single occurrence.
    • Contact Name
    • Contact Email
  5. It is recommended that you complete as many fields as possible. It is especially recommended to include a specific event location for your event.
  6. In the “Filters” section, please tag “Orientation” in your department along with your department (if available). Units in the Division of Student Life should also tag “Division of Student Life.”
  7. Click “Add Event” to submit your event for approval.
  8. While your event is being reviewed, you will receive updates about any modifications that need to be made as well as an email letting you know it has been approved.
